Hello, Smyth Co marriage records show the marriage of Joseph Lambert + Catherine Keesling on 21 Oct 1843. I have a little Lambert info that I have compiled while searching for my Stephen Lambert, born cir 1810 to Henry Lambert and wife Barbara Wolf of Wythe Co. Stephen lived a good part of his life in Smyth Co. Your Joseph sounds like he might belong to one of Henry's other sons: John b 1797, Henry b 1799, or Joseph M b cir 1794. John and Henry are baptised at St Paul Church in Wythe Co, Henry married Emeline Leedy, and Joseph died in 1860s in Claiborne Co Tn. ++++++++++ This is probably not much help, but may be a starting point for a search.
