Thank you for your reply, it is much appreciated. Indeed it is frustrating, but worth it. There must be HUNDREDS of Walter LAMBERTS. I only want to find one who married a Louisa Anne PHILLIPS as she is my husbands birth mother, he was born in Birmingham 1945. Apparently Walter didn't fancy bringing up another mans son so he was adopted.
