The Daily Herald (IL) Sunday, January 7, 2001-LAMBERT, NORBERT V. SR. OF WHEATON Services for Norbert V. Lambert Sr., 90, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, and continue with a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church. Born Jan. 21, 1910, in Wheaton, he died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at home. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Mr. Lambert was a 1927 graduate of Wheaton High School. He was a 70-year member of the Knights of Columbus and a 4th Degree Knight. He was a carpenter/contractor, co-owner of Lambert Construction Company and built many homes in DuPage County. Norbert was a member of the Wheaton Community High School Old Timers Club, active member of the Wheaton Drama Club and the Wheaton Dance Club. A founding member of Tuesday night golf at Aarowhead Golf Club, he had three holes-in-one, and was an avid softball player and fisherman. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Egan); loving father of Suzanne Barr, David (Nancy), Norbert V. Jr. (Patricia), Michael (Janice) Lambert and the late Kristine (Tim) Fair; devoted grandfather of 20; and great-grandfather of 13. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
