Hi everyone, I have just signed up for this list and thought I would say hello. My name is Leanne Turnbull, I'm an Aussie, and naturally I am researching the Lambert surname. Or should I say 'trying' to research the name <sigh>. My ggg-grandmother was Isabella Lambert, and she married William Bolam Turnbull on November 29 1828, in All Saints, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland. I know that Isabella & William were living in or near Annfield Plain, County Durham in the 1850's. What I do not know, is when & where Isabella was born, and when & where Isabella died. I assume she would have been buried with her husband in Annfield Plain. I have searched the IGI files for her birth, and have come up with six possibilties. All of those entries were recorded in Northumberland. I hope all of this isn't too confusing, and that maybe someone out there knows of this Isabella (it can't hurt to dream <grin>).
