Reply to Linda & Dave Deaver's inquiry: There are more than one David Lambert in my research, and more than one Josias. I have no record of Lamberts going from SC to Ohio. Mine went to KY & IL, but David Lambert b. 1800-1810, d. Warren Co. KY had 7 children in 1840. Perhaps some of these children went on to Ohio. Lester Allen Lambert & Casper Lambert aren't on my list. This particular David was the son of Rivers Lambert & Nancy Sturgeon both born around 1780 in SC, dying in Gallatin Co IL after 1840. This is difficult because so many names are the same in the Lambert family.

I am trying to get strted research my wifes family , Lambert or Lamberth from the Carolinas then to Ohio . Coal Grove and then East Fultonham Ohio . The only Names I have are Lester Allen Lambert and Casper Lambert . Can anyone help me get started ? Thanks Dave Deaver .
