However, I don't think he was their firstborn, I think he had an older brother named Armand. Anyway, I was not able to locate them in Haverhill or Georgetown in the 1910 census, so I think maybe he immigrated between 1910 and 1912. 2. Hi Joseph, Long time since we communicated. In the Jan 1991 newsletter of the Lambert/Lamberth Assoc. I wrote an article and you answered. We communicated for awhile. You gave me much to think about. Shortly after that I retired(1992) and moved from Del back home to Alabama. I bought land here and buielt a small farm which tied me up for awhile(about 6 years) I've eased out of most of that and am now back on geneology. At the present though am writing article on my Lamberth and Morgans for county(Elmore) Heritage book. I have a Oct 31 deadline to get it in. See if you still have the Jan 1991 newsletter and I'll be back Oct 31st. I've copied your e-mail address. Great to hear from you again. Arthur

    3. Hi Arthur, Rachel Stephens married Isaac Lambert (SR) In 1806 in Wilkes Co Ga. Next thing I have on Rachel is where she and husband John Etheridge sold land in Dallas Co Al 1836. An Isaac Lambert got a land grant about 1833-4, any way about that time.I have it in my records. I believe this could be SR or Jr. I need to get papers where he signed for the land and compare the signatures. Also an Isaac Lambert got a land in 1839 in St Claire Co Al. Rachel and John Etheridge on 1850 Coosa Al census with her son Solomon S Lambert b 1937 Al. James Lambert was here also. I am not sure where Isaac JR was but all three families moved at the same time to Texas. Rachel and John Etheridge on 1860 in Henderson Co Texas I think this is the right Co.) My cousin have the letters from Elizabeth Lambert (1854-46) to her brother Ervin Lambert. Ervin Lambert lived in Dallas Co Al (Selma) 1850 census . He married Catherine Elizabeth Chapman in Dallas Co Al. He died July 10 1862 Mobile Al.in the Civil War. In the letters from Elizabeth to Ervin listed where all of the brothers and sisters were and their children. James ( b 1807 in GA,) and wife Bashi with their children were on the 1860 census (Henderson I think) in Texas . This family lived close to her. Another brother Isaac (JR) 1860 lived in Texas also with his wife Elizabeth and children in another Co. south of them . Solomon lived in Al in Coosa Co Al. 1860 .He died in The Civil War. Elizabeth wrote about other sisters but no name but told where they lived and said one was married to a Mr. Watson ( thought he was settled for life). (This was Bethany who married Dempsey Watson. Also living with was Ester Meadows and her two daughters who were Meadows.) Also Elizabeth named all of the children in the letters and they were the same as on the census. How did you come up with Isaac and Rachel's children? Please let me know this. Rachel married John Etheridge I guess in Al. I haven't been able to find it. James was Rachel and Isaac oldest son. Catherine Elizabeth Chapman's mother Martha Etheridge was the daughter of Edmund . Edmond E. left a will in Dallas co Al naming her and husband Samuel Davis Chapman. Do you have the Ten Generation of Etheridges book ? In the book it has Alice, Lena Mae, Tone Cay,and Viola Morgan are these yours?
