Regarding a submission on the LDS in case some of you have seen this and have tried to research an Amy Mork. Amy LAMBERT Sex: F Marriage(s): Spouse: Willey MORK Marriage: 14 Oct 1873 Gallia, Ohio Willey's name was MONK nor MORK. The marriage date and county are correct. Amy Lambert Monk and Wiley Monk had five children: John H. Monk Sophia L. Monk (McGhee) Jessie A. Monk (Ward) James D. Monk Della J. Monk (Pettit) Amy and Wiley and some or all of their children attended a Lambert family reunion about 1919 - 20 at Pilgy's Knob near Wellston Ohio Jackson County. (I have a group picture and my dad attended as a child of about 8) In the census records, Amy states that she had 11 children. I assume that five must have died at birth or in infancy as Frank had no brothers or sisters that we know of.
Has anyone on the list had correspondence with the following two Lambert researchers? Is so, I would love to have their E-mail addresses. Michael C. Pearson - California Watha Lambert - Arizona Thanks
Hello all, I just joined the Lambert list. Researching: Phillipi Lambert - b. 1834 m. Barbary Galloway, b. 1838, m. 7 Oct 1849 Gallia, Ohio (LDS) (daughter of Arthur and Catherine Hendricks Galloway. Arthur remarried after Catherine’s death in Fayette County, OH.) Children of Phillipi and Barbary Galloway Lambert: 1) Amy Lambert (presumed to be mother of Franklin Pierce Lambert, b. 1862) 2) Jeremiah Lambert 3) Catherine Lambert, b. abt. 1853, Greenfield Twp. Gallia Co. OH., m. Oscar A. Foster (think she is part of this family) 4) Philip Lambert (jr.), b. 1865 OH. (Think he is part of this family) ALSO researching - David Lambert born 7 March 1802 Virginia and died 25 Mar 1884 Lawrence County, Ohio. He was in Gallia County before 1820 and appears in the 1830, 1840, 1850, 1870 and 1880 census of Gallia. He was in Kentucky in 1860. He married three times. 1st Mary Magdelena Harper 1829, 2nd Sarah 1840's and 3rd Bethena Williams ca 1867 (Bethany Lambert has quite a history. She was born about 1796 Virginia. Her name was Bethany Summers. She married Jesse Roberts in 1825. Bethany and Jesse Roberts daughter Permelia Roberts married William Henderson Lambert son of David Lambert in Lawrence Co OH 12 Dec 1853. Jesse Roberts died may 1846 and his widow Bethany married David Lambert the father-in-law of her daughter) I am interested in finding the connection between David Lambert and Phillipi Lambert? Thanks for any informations

Among these Acadians were Joseph Durong (Durant) and his wife, Ann Lambert; and their children, Mary, Josette, Ann, Margaret, Mary Ann, and Rosalie; John Daigle and his wife Rosalie Richard, and their child, John Baptist; Peter Lambert and his sons Peter and John; Francois LeBlanc and his wife, Magdalene Comie, and their children, Josetta, Ozick, Magdalene, Tesslie, and Margaret; Paul Oliver and his wife, Magdalene Bourk; Margaret Daigle Forrait and her three children, Paul , Larion, and John Baptist; John Baptist Porrier; Michell Porrier, Pierre Caisee; Michell Lapierre; and Renaie Drowhanny" Some of the names are not spelled correctly in this history. But, this may give someone a lead to find a lost relative. Prince Frederick Parish consisted of; part of Georgetown County, Horry County, Marion County, Dillon County, Florence County and Williamsburg County. All are in north east, South Carolina near the North Carolina - South Carolina Border. Hello Everyone! I am new to this digest! I am looking for the Lamberts that came from the Trois Riviers,Quebec area-to Vermont.......probably late 1800s. My great grandfathers name was William Lambert -he married Clarisse Geauvreau. He died Nov.22,1956 at 88 yrs old! He had many children- my grandfather Arthur was one of them. William had at least one brother named Telesphore- he died we think Feb. 13,1913. Any information would indeed be appreciated! Thanks! Sincerely, Tracey Lambert Kirch ----- Original Message ----- From: <LAMBERT-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: <LAMBERT-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2001 3:00 PM Subject: LAMBERT-D Digest V01 #25
Kevin,,,,,Congratulations! You're doing better than I am. I have been searching for my Grandmother's ancestors in Quebec for quite a while without much luck. Her name was Marie Louise Lambert and her father was Etienne. I was told by my aunt, that they were from Ste. Anne DuBeaupre in Quebec, but that's all I know. There are hundreds of Marie Louise Lamberts, but I've only found one Etienne so far, and he was too old. If you find my GGrandfather in your searches for your own family, would you please drop me a line? Again, congratulations! Have you thought about trying to get a birth cert for this man. If what you have is correct, it should be possible if it were registered. "They" reckon about 80% were at the time Just a thought Antony B M & D Certificates: Pay with a non sterling cheque or Credit Card and get them direct from the local office of the Superintendent Registrar. Hi Listers, It would seem that I have a few more details on my gggg-grandmother Isabella Lambert. They are as follows; Isabella Lambert was born in Jarrow, NBL, in 1807 On November 1829, Isabella married William Bolam Turnbull, in All Saints, Newcastle Upon Tyne She died in 1871, and was buried at Lanchester Isabella's occupation was listed as 'Publican'. Isabella's husband William was a Blacksmith/Publican. I've also been told that Isabella & William were buried in Annfield Plain, Co.Durham. Unfortunatley, I still have no clue as to the names of Isabella's parents. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, or if you may be related, I would love to hear from you. Best regards Leanne Turnbull N.S.W, Australia

Hello: You asked about sources of information in Wales for genealogy. There are several very good sources linked into the GENUKI pages. In addition, there is a discussion group, much like this one, which specializes in northern Wales. Send the message "subscribe" to the following address: POWYS-D-request@rootsweb.com Powys was a ancient kingdom name for a part of northern Wales. The people on that list have a wealth of knowledge about Anglesey Island and neighbouring counties. Good hunting.........
