    1. [LAMBERT] FW: MY SEND - Lamberts of Sheffield
    2. Shane Lambert
    3. Hi All As there seems to be a lot of messages on the Lambert mailing list I thought I'd repost my Lambert interests, At the top of my Lambert tree I have James William Lambert married Rose Waldrick (approx 1900), 4 children 1. Charles Lambert b.24 Apr 1906 Sheffield d.2 Oct 1974 Leeds (married Frances Draycott in 1933, 4 children) 2. Jim Lambert (no more known) [I have photo of Jim) 3. Rhoda Lambert (married Robert Henry Jones, 5 children) [I have photo of Rhoda & Robert] 4. Unknown Lambert. >From my Grandfather (Charles Lambert) birth certificate, James William Lambert was a coal carter (?). Charles (and I believe his brother[s]) was placed into a home for boys at The Sheffield Boys Working Home, 287 Western Bank, Sheffield , South Yorkshire . Charles settled in Leeds in 1922/23 where he is thought to have lived with an aunt of his in Woodhouse. He ended up being a lodger in a house in Cross Lisbon Street, Leeds where he met my Grandmother, Frances Draycott . Charles was a keen boxer and went under the name of "Digger". Charles and Frances' four children are (i) Charles Lambert b.1934 (ii) Mavis Lambert b.1935 (iii) Victor Lambert (my Father) b.1938 (iv) Frances Lambert b.1949. I know all the above info is very sketchy but is there anybody out there who has come across any of the names mentioned? many thanks, Shane. shanel@ministryofsound.net **************************************************************************** ******************************************************** The information contained in this e-mail is confidential and for the named parties only. 3. Hello Howard, Many thanks for your reply. If you would keep my Lambert line in mind when researching your own, I'd be grateful. Also, do you have any suggestions as to where I would find a business directory for Islington c.1840. I am trying to find a Thomas GUDGEON - a wheelwright of High Street, and whether he had a business in his own right or if working for someone else. His father was Telesphore Lamprohon(His father was Lambert Lampron/Lamprohon)-He later changed his name to Lambert(He married Philomene Poisson). I would love more information about my great grandfathers brothers and sisters and children! Thanks so much! Tracey Lambert Kirch

    2. James A. Lambert slambert@gscrods.com I am searching for information on two of my ancestors. Phillippe Lambert b. abt. 1682 in Acadia, d. 8 January 1757 in Quebec City, m. 1712 to Marie Madeleine Boudreaux in Beaubassin, Acadia. They had five children, I have information on all of them. I need to know more about Pierre Lambert, Phillippe's child. He was born in 1762 in Menoudie, Acadia. He married three times, Marguerite Arceneaux, an unknown woman, and Marie Doiron. During the Acadian deportation he came to South Carolina, had four or five children who stayed in South Carolina; one of which is my direct ancestor. He at some point later moved to Louisiana where he died on 1 September 1809. Here are my questions: When did he move to Louisiana? Where in Louisiana did he live? (Possibly with relatives in Assumption, Ascension, Iberville or Lafourche Parishes; where he had relatives) Did he have any children in Louisiana? (Relatives I would love to contact!) Thanks in advance for your help.
