Lohmuller (Loughmiller or Lockmiller) the emigrants The first reference I found for this Shenandoah Co. emigrant ancestor of Margaret Pear Feazel, wife of George Feazel, was on 5 Sept. 1738 when 252 Palatines were imported on the Winter Galley from Rotterdam. Jurig M. was born ca 1714 in Germany. Naturalized 05 May, 1747 in Frederick Co. Va. Will in Shenandoah Co. Va. book B., pg. 512 dated 23 Oct. 1788 Probate date 25 Dec. 1788 The males in his family all moved to Tenn. except Jacob. This was after the settlement of his father's estate. The Mauks were in the 1830 Hawkins Co. TN. census The Lohmuller Children 1. John, the eldest was born 9 Oct. 1773 in Shenandoah Co. Va. 2. Barbara married Mr. Mauk 3. George Martin, Jr. was born 1756 in Frederick Va. Md. 26 Dec. 1781 in Shenandoah Co. Va. to Dorothy Grotton. He died 17 Jan. 1798 in Hawkins Co. TN. 4. Rebecca married Mr. Bachman. 5. Jacob md. 24 Apr. 1786 in Shenandoah Co. Va. Md. Catharine Wisert. Probate of will 11 June, 1821. 6. Margaret md. PHILLIP PEAR (PEHR) She died May, 1816 in Shenandoah County, Va. One historian incorrectly gave her name as Lehr. Perhaps the P appeared as an L in some document the compiler has not seen.? 7. Jonas married Mary Boehm on 24 Jul. 1792 in Shenandoah Co. Va.
