I wonder if the township of Longstraw was included in the Jackson Par. records that were burned? I'm not sure exactly where my ancestors lived near Longstraw (it was evidently a booming town at one time before the railroad was cut thru to Choudrant). I would like to know where I can get a any records of this town (Longstraw). All that seems to be left is an old cemetery and a church. Looking for Lindseys and Sanders (John H. Sanders - mayor and sheriff of Longstraw) from this area. Also: Taylor, Hurt, Nockhouse, Woolery, & Swinney.
