I am well acquainted with the Huffman family. S. D. Huffman married Ruthelle Bagwell Watts as his second wife. She and my mother were double first cousins. Ruth's father was a brother to the L. C. Bagwell who refused to drag the logs over the Norris cemetery. Also, a note to Jo Autrey: I have just mailed you the check for the book plus the ancestors of my nephews. You will notice that they have very little on their father's family. He was Sammy Staples who was killed in a boating accident on Bayou Desiard (spelling? please correct me.) in 1968 near Monroe, La. Sammy was a son of Jimmie (Is it Ivey or Ivy) who married George Staples. George Staples was a son of Archibald Staples. My nephews are Russell Lynn Staples and Jeffery Alan Staples. When Sammy was killed Rusty was only five and Jeff was a baby. My sister remarried and unfortunately they do not have much information on their Dad's family. I do not think they have a picture or names of their geat grandparents. My sister asked me to help in creating a lineage chart that would include their father's family (sic: Ivy, Henry, Autrey, Norris, etc.) Are the Huffman's part of the Autrey clan?
