Hi! I'm looking for any information on the Rhesa Smith household or any Christy's found in Lincoln Parish. John Christy and Harriett Bartlett Christy were in Claiborne Parish before John died in the Civil War. Harriett Christy then married Rhesa Smith in 1866. They were in the 1870 Union Parish census but not in the 1880. With the boundary changes during the 1870's I'm thinking they may have ended up in Lincoln Parish. I'm also missing a T.P. Christy in 1880! My Christy's aren't showing up on the census index in 1880 and I haven't had the chance to go back and look for the Smith's. Are any of these names familiar? Thanks much! Debi
