Do you know where the old Norris Cemetery is located? My grandfather spoke of this cemetery quite often. He said it was once a rather large cemetery until the lumber companies tore it up pulling logs over the markers and graves. At that time my grandfather, L. C. Bagwell, was a logging contractor and they approached him to do the job. He refused as he knew many of the people buried there. When I asked him where it was, he would say "way back in the woods not far from here." He lived on Hwy. 151 after you pass Fellowship Bapt. Ch. and before you get to Culbertson Bapt. Church. I have often wondered if some of the first Lincoln Parish residents were buried there. Comments appreciated. Thanks Sherry Gritzbaugh
