    3. Peggy and Listmembers: This has been a very special treat for me, the diary brought back a lot of childhood memories of my grandfather and father and the farms we lived on. At one point, my age showed! Mr. Jones listed B.D. and a price. For some reason I instantly thought of Black Draught. A few lines later, that was exactly what he wrote! I remember my grandparents buying it, but I have forgotten if it was medicine or a rubbing compound for animals as well as man. If you have materials such as this diary, please consider donating a copy to Peggy for the archives. I'll continue to offer my time, as permitted, to type materials for you so we can have all the information we can on Lincoln Parish and all the communities in it. Perhaps there are others that can donate a little of their time to help type, you don't have to be a speed typist, just so we get the materials typed in a format that Peggy can use to upload to the web site. I also thank Mr. Jones for sharing this treasure with us, and to Peggy for all the hard work she does, and to the subscribers of this list for all you submit. You know, we are just a great group of people, all dependent on each other! So, out to the garage, storage room, attics, book shelves and trunks for those wonderful documents! If it can be read, it can be typed!
