Hi Peg, I'm sorry. I didn't make any other comment other than what was on the document since it was shown to be from Lincoln Parish Louisiana and dated, I didn't think it would be necessary to explain it could be found in the Lincoln Parish Courthouse and to repeat the date. I just assumed anyone would know it was from Lincoln Parish Court house and would be found in the records shown for the year stated. Always heard "assuming" was a bad exercise, should have remembered it.:) Thanks for pointing this out, will try to remember to do so in the future.
