Peggy, Thanks for sending your Griffins. I don't think we connect. I just found Lewis Griffin, my husband's gggrandfather b. about 1830, married to Ionia Finley (his second wife). The son in our line was John T. Griffin, married to Stella Bryan. Stella and John T. died some time around 1890 and left five young boys as orphans. Lewis was apparently born in Alabama. John was born in Alabama to Lewis and his first wife. I hope someone else might find a connection. Dorothy
