Died 1878 in Lincoln Parish, LA. Daughters: Arizona, born 3 Apr 1870 in AL, died 29 Dec 1901 in LA, married William Addison RICHARDSON; Effie married John HOWARD; Eldorado married Matthew ALBRITTON; Minnie married Herb HAM 1880 in Lincoln Parish.     3. Hi everyone, I posted this earlier, but since this is the first night of our new list and we've had new people jump on board all night, I'm going to post it again. My apologies to those of you that have already seen it. Soon I will become a silent list manager and leave things up to you folks who actually know something about Lincoln Parish!!! Now for the rerun .... I guess the best way to get this list off the ground is to start a roll call. The only problem is I don't have any Lincoln Parish ancestors! My interest in Lincoln Parish comes from my job as archive coordinator for the USGenWeb Lincoln Parish Archives. If you're not familiar with it you can take a look at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/lincoln.htm Check it out, see what's there, and then think about what you have access to. Maybe you have obits, bios, a cemetery listing, bible record, or something else that would help build our archives. There is a link to instructions on how to submit your files on the archives main page. Feel free to post your archive submissions to this list. I can pick it up for the archives directly from here. Just put a tag line that lets me know the posting is for archive submission. I know on the Winn Parish list these type of postings have sparked lively discussions and surprising connections. Now, back to the roll call ...... I am from Winn Parish, just a little to the south of Lincoln, and most of my interests are in that area, but you never know so here goes . . . I am researching the surnames CHANDLER, RIFFE, SULLIVAN, HENNIGAN, DODSON, WALKER, GRIFFIN, BATTLE, TUBERVILLE, FOWLER, BEAUBOUEF, LOW/LOWE, FRANKS, HICKMAN, COLE, WILSON, and NUGENT, just to name a few.     3. Hello to the list, I am searching for information on the Edwards family of Lincoln Parish, LA. William I. Edwards married Alice Gooing (b1872-AL) in 1920 in Lincoln Parish, LA. William was the son of W. H. Edwards and Catherine (?). Other children of W. H. and Catherine are: Mary Jane, Peter J., Elijah Augustus, Cleburn Wright, Nancy, Catherine, Minnie A., Sarah and Stephen. Many thanks, Gay Kinney

    3. Hello to the list, I am searching for info on my gg grandparents, Joseph D. Phillips (b.1831-AL) and Martha Elizabeth Pilcher (b.1836-GA) who were married in Ouachita Parish, LA on 4 December 1852. They lived at the Lincoln/Ouachita Parish line around Indian Village. Their issue: 1) Charles Green Phillips b. 1861-LA d. 1928-OP, LA married Carrie Lizzie Minnie Hay on 22 Dec 1892 in OP, LA 2) John G. Phillips b. 1863-LA d.1953-OP, LA married Lucinda P. Landers on 31 January 31, 1883 in Jackson Parish, LA 3) Lillie A. Phillips b. 1863-LA d.1935-OP, LA married E.     3. Hello to the list, I am researching the Goins and Edwards families of Lincoln Parish, LA. Martin B. Goins (b. 1853-AL d. 9 Nov 1920-Ruston, LA) was my gg grandfather. His daughter Alice (b. 1872 in AL), married William Edwards of Lincoln Parish in 1896 and resided in Ruston. They are buried in Greenwood Cemetery in the Town of Ruston. Any help with these families will be GREATLY appreciated. Gay Kinney
