My daughter from Baton Rouge sent me the following e-mail. I thought some of the members who do Louisiana genealogy might be interested. Dotty Burleigh Le Comite des Archives de la Louisiane will hold a used book sale on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31, at the Louisiana State Archives on Essen Lane in Baton Rouge. The society will offer used genealogical books and periodicals as well as some non-genealogical books for sale. Proceeds will be used to purchase new books for the Archives research room. The sale will run from 9am to 5 pm on saturday, and 1pm to 5pm on Sunday.
