Earl and I will be making our first presentation at the Lafayette Public Library this Saturday 3 February at 930 am. So far we have had 15 people that would like to attend. All members are invited to attend. We will also need some help from the membership. We are planning to make the presentation and then assist them with research on the second floor. We could use some help with this. Anyone that could help, please contact Earl or me. _Sanger@aol.com_ (mailto:Sanger@aol.com) or _GatesEarlG@aol.com._ (mailto:EarlG@aol.com) So far it is just the three banditos, Earl, Brenda and Me. We were informed this morning that the library has obtained HeritageQuest. It is suppost to be accessible from home, but it does not yet work. They have insured us that they are working on it. Now you can use it at any branch of the Public Library. Thanks Charles
We attended the Genealogy for Beginners at the library on Sat 2/3 and just wanted to say that even though we are not beginners, we picked up several pointers that will be very helpful for us Our appreciation to the Laf Genealogy and to Earl and ?? for their presentation, time and effort - a great job Lou and Wanda Carlton -----Original Message----- From: lalgs-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:lalgs-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of SANGER@aol.com Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 4:41 PM To: LALGS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [LALGS] Presentation for Genealogy for Beginners Earl and I will be making our first presentation at the Lafayette Public Library this Saturday 3 February at 930 am.
