From what I can tell, it appears that African American records are some of those being put online for free. It also states that they will be having topics (basically classes) that can be downloaded. In the Lafayette, La. library, there are a set of books written on the church history in the Lafayette and surrounding parishes by Father Hebert. How did you hear about us? We are researching the residents of Patoutville and the cemetery there. Many of the oldest tombs are in disrepair and need "fixin'" Are your people from there?
