The website has undergone many changes in the past few days. About 350 cemetery entries, partial abstracts from obituaries, have been added to the site and the church list expanded. The site could still use more volunteers for lookups. Do you have some time to spare for research questions? Many genealogists live in areas that lack the basics in Louisiana research, the books we take for granted at the local library. Finding a local volunteer to check out a name can be a tremendous help to these long distance family historians. Have you accumulated any research that you would like to share on the website?
