Sharon, Before sending your packet to an ancestor of the Laird's mentioned, I hope that you will consider sharing the information with the Laird Family Association by posting the information to the newsletter. In 1996 I received a correspondence from a Barry Laird Cornell of New York who is a descendant of Matthew Laird and wife Margaret Brown. The Laird information that you have may be the same information gathered by his Aunt. Three generations of the family was in Canton Co., Ohio. Possibly Barry is now a member of this mailing list.
