Unfortunately, I have not learned anything new about John Laird, the spouse of Lydia Wright in Washington County. PA, married in the 1790s in that county. [Two of their daughters, Charity and Jane married Van Wye brothers and between the two marriages produced 26 Van Wye grandchildren for John and Lydia] I have found a little more info on the Wright family this past year, but so far nothing on John's Laird family of origin.
