John Laird, b. ca. 1784 probably in Pennsylvania. Moved f rom Allegany Co., PA sometime before 1822 to Ross Co., Ohio. Died in the 1840's. Was a hatter. Had sons James Mc (Mc was his middle name), Jesse Wesley, and John. Daughters Mary Brown Laird and Rachel Cloud Laird. Married Pheobe Ford. Both buried in Chillicothe, Ohio.
