I know that many people have joined the list since I intially put this info. up. Anyway, my earliest known ancestor is Samuel Burlin Laird. He was born 3/17/1826 possibly in New York. The place of birth can not be proven at this time. He died on May 20, 1907 in Canton, IL (Fulton Co.). He married Mary Ann "Polly" Ogden May 2, 1848.
