I have been watching the Lairds come and go on this list for some time now with not being able to determine if mine fit in or not. So many James's. Thomas's, Samuel's and John's. Finding a connection seems almost impossible. Seems like the list of Laird's is unending. Guess you can tell I have really hit that brick wall. Married: Nancy Titus from Williamsport Pa 7/6/1831 in Williamsport Pa Source: Lycoming Gazette B: 1810 in Pa (possibly Williamsport) d: 6/24/1880 in Williamsport (Williamsport Cemetery) Source: Lycoming Gazette and cemetery records Children of Thomas and Nancy: Thomas, Jr. B: 1834 (1840/50/60 census records) D: unknown Samuel B: 1836 (1850 census and Cemetery records) D: 1852 (Williamsport cemetery records) Martha A B: 1839 (1840.50,60 census records and Orphans Court Death record index) D: 2/5/1893 Rebecca Jane B: 4/28/1844 D: 6/9/1022 Death certificat Nancy and Thomas lived in Covington Township Tioga PA Bottom line is I have no idea who Thomas parents were. Thought for a while he might belong to Tenas Lairds as James had a son Thomas born in 1810. Was quite a lot of inf in the meginnes book but everything except where Tenas Thomas went or did.
