Dear Laird's, I am submitting this to Patricia, and to the list (I think). I just found this information today on microfilm in our cities' newspaper at the Wellington Kansas Public Library. I do not know the people mentioned, nor do I have any information about them other than what you see below. I have no reason to believe that they are any "close kin" of mine, but I'm sending this on hoping that it will help someone! Extracted from the Wellington Daily News at the Wellington, Kansas Public Library January 30, 1939 Marriages Two marriage cermonies were performed at the parsonage of the First Christian Church Saturday afternoon by the Reverend L. F. Sargent. Miss Patricia Laird and Lowell Brown, both of Ponca City, Oklahoma, were married at 3:00 o'clock. Miss Fannie Ruth Pyron, Oklahoma City and Roy McGuire of Bethany Oklahoma, were married at 1:00 o'clock.
