    1. [LAIRD] LFA Newsletter-Earliest Known Laird Ancestor
    2. Hello LFA members and friends, I hope that each of you have had a chance to download the December issue of "Laird Branches." If not, the file can be found under newsletter at the following URL: http://www.qcsi.net/lfa The Laird Family Association has grown to 131 members. However I have only heard from a few of you regarding submission of your earliest known Laird ancestor for the January issue of "Laird Branches." Since this Special Edition is only published once a year, it allows each of us the opportunity to post our brick wall so that others may see, and possibly find a connection to YOUR family. The importance of this edition of the newsletter cannot be over emphasized, nor should it be overlooked as an important genealogical resource for the Laird researcher. So please support the Laird Family Association by submitting your earliest known Laird ancestor as soon as possible. Since my task will only be to copy and paste the information into a sensible format, the newsletter should be ready for posting on the LFA website as soon as I hear from each of you. If you would like me to post last years submission, then please send me a note requesting that I do so. If you are not sure if you are a member of the Laird Family Association, then please contact our Membership Chairpersons (Robert and Carolyn Laird, LALAIRD@compuserve.com). Robert and Carolyn Laird will be pleased to add your name to the membership list. Remember, the true purpose and goal of the Laird Family Association is to help unite Laird researchers throughout the world into one large family. The true purpose of the newsletter is to gather genealogical information from around the globe into one central location, for the help and benefit of all Laird researchers. Please send your submissions to Patricia Laird Howard @ plhoward@aol.com Sincerely, Patricia Laird Howard LFA Newsletter Editor
