    3. Hi! I live 30 miles west of Winfield, but I am not familiar with searching in the Winfield area. I do know that the courthouse is on East ninth street, and that the library is not far from it, about a mile and a half. There is a nice libary at Arkansas City if your family came from around that area, and Ark City is south of Winfield. These towns are on the west edge of the beautiful Flint Hills ranch region. If you have any questions, I'd try to help, but may not have the answers you seek. Wish our Lairds connected!
