I'm going to give this another try, hoping that someone on this list will recognize my great grandfather and have a little info for me. - Great Grandfather - M.C. Laird, born approx. 1876 in Arkansas, he married Pearl Hopkins, also of Arkansas. They moved to Truckee, Nevada Co., California, showing up on the 1910 Census with their daughter Viola Mae. They cannot be found together in the 1920 Census. It's my understanding that Pearl, who had had two sons with M.C. between 1910 and 1915, took the three children and moved to Arizona. The two boys were, Orville Manuel and Horace Dean. M.C. was seldom heard from by the family after that. If anyone recognizes this family - I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Karen O.
