Bobbi, Sherry and Robert: I don't think I can help you but my greatgrandfather, William Garrison, was the child of a Garrison(father) and Laird(mother). He was born in Hart Co KY in 1830 and was raised by his maternal grandparents who moved to IL. There is a census that shows an Ann Garrison in Hart co. KY in 1830. Hart Co was formed partly from Barren Co so the actual places may have been the same even though listed in different counties. Further to that, Anne LAIRD (LORD or LARD) married a George Garrison c. 1807. The mother of William Garrison had a brother, Jesse, who also moved to IL. There was a Jesse Laird who fought in the Blackhawk war in IL. I have not been able to prove connections but would certainly like to do so.
