    1. [LAIRD-L] LFA Newsletter
    2. Hello Everyone, May I apologize for the delay in the October edition of the Laird Family Association Newsletter. I needed to take a break so that I could work on a landscaping project. As you can see by the delay with the October edition, the landscaping project took up more of my time than expected. I hope to have the October and November issue of "Laird Branches" ready for Robert to post to the LFA web site by Nov 1st. If you have any queries, announcements or information you would like to place in the November issue, you may contact me at the following e-mail address. plairdhoward@aol.com The new year is just around the corner, and I would like to have the first issue for the year 2000 to be a "Special Edition of our earliest known Laird ancestors." For those of you who do not have any new information to report since the first "Special Edition" publication, you may write to me stating that you would like to report the same information. For those of you who have found another link in your chain, may I congratulate you on your progress. If you are a new member of the Laird Family Association, please write a few lines, paragraph, or short article on your earliest known Laird ancestor, and send to me at the above e-mail address. Please mention that the information is for the January issue of "Laird Branches." As always, please remember that the more information you submit, the more likely others will be able to find a connection to your line. I know that everyone will soon be busy with holiday activities, so an early submission to the newsletter is always welcome. For those of you who are new to the Laird mailing list, the LFA web site URL is as follows: http://www.qcsi.net/lfa Please note that Joining the Laird mailing list does not make you an automatic member of the Laird Family Association. You must request membership by e-mailing your request to the Membership Chairpersons. As always, membership in the Laird Family Association is free. For more information on membership in the Laird Family Association, please visit the LFA web site. Sincerely, Patricia Laird Howard Newsletter Editor
