Mary, My Lairds lived in Allegheny County Pennsylvania in the early 1900s; my grandfather's name was James Finley Laird. I have a photo of him, but I have no vital statistics. He married Jessie U. Sawhill and I think they lived in Taylorstown, PA. They were both deaf. He was a shoemaker, according to family folklore. Think we might have a connection?
