Mary, I just found my Lairds, Samuel Barnett, b 1827 in Westmoreland Co., PA m. Mariah/Marie Roberts 1856. They had three sons, John, Harry and Elmer. In 1916, John was living in Turtle Creek, PA (near Pittsburgh). As yet, I don't know if Samuel had any brothers or sisters. Will let you know if I find anything more.
