My James' parents were Roulston LAIRD and Elizabeth(Betty) JAMESON. I have no specific information on Roulston LAIRD or Betty JAMESON other than they were Presbyterian and having children between 1825-1833 in Raphoe. I have some indications that Betty JAMESON may have been born in Scotland. Other children besides James that I know of include: Ralston LAIRD--born 1825-30 Samuel LAIRD--born 1825-30 Catherine LAIRD--born 1833 Ralston, Samuel, and James all came over to the US in the 1850's and settled in Philadelphia then Burlington and Camden Counties, NJ.
