    3. Hi Floyd: Finally some one is from my area!! I have a copy of David Laird's will in Wash. co. VA and a copy of James Laird's will. My ancestory Elizabeth Laird married John Moody in Wash. Co. VA in 1796. I believe she was son of James, but born after his will was made. They named a son James. I also have a Gilliland ancestor. Many of my ancestors fought at king's Mountain.
