Congratulations....Loie Most of my ancestors are from Newton County, Mississippi... the earliest known is my g-g-grandfather, Archibald. I have a picture of his headstone, so I know the birthdate, but I don't know ~where~ he was born. The 1850 Census implies he was born in Kentucky, but it's a large state! So, that's where I'm stuck. I'm hoping my "new" 3rd cousin might have something new... he's working on it.
