My father purchased the clock in England about 35 years ago and it was estimated to be well over 100 years old then. On the face of the clock is written the name "D. W. Laird" and beneath it "Leith". I was wondering if in your research you might have discovered a clock maker named Laird that lived in Leith, Scotland sometime in the early 1800's? B.
