Your parish list addresses should bounce off of theirs in no time. b --WebTV-Mail-5591-2913 Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Message/RFC822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Received: from mailsorter-102-2.iap.bryant.webtv.net (209.240.198.99) by postoffice-199.bryant.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Mon, 2 Aug 1999 18:56:18 -0700 (PDT) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from bl-11.rootsweb.com (bl-11.rootsweb.com [204.212.38.27]) by mailsorter-102-2.iap.bryant.webtv.net (8.8.8/ms.graham.14Aug97) with ESMTP id SAA14783 for <[email protected]>; Mon, 2 Aug 1999 18:56:17 -0700 (PDT) Received: (from [email protected]) by bl-11.rootsweb.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) id SAA00527; Mon, 2 Aug 1999 18:54:22 -0700 (PDT) Resent-Date: Mon, 2 Aug 1999 18:54:22 -0700 (PDT) From: "Kim Stracener Zapalac" <[email protected]> Old-To: <[email protected]> Subject: RE: [LAGENWEB-L] Fwd: [STATE-COORD-L] Bogus Queries Date: Mon, 2 Aug 1999 18:47:59 -0700 Message-ID: <[email protected]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 (Normal) X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.2416 (9.0.2910.0) Importance: Normal In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.00.2314.1300 Resent-Message-ID: <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Resent-From: [email protected] Reply-To: [email protected] X-Mailing-List: <[email protected]> archive/latest/630 X-Loop: [email protected] Precedence: list Resent-Sender: [email protected] Bobby, Hi All, I just got back from being gone for over 6 weeks and noticed that both of my parish mailing lists (Allen & LaSalle) were now subscribed to the ONElist Mailing list? Could this same person also be submitting our e-mail addresses to lists like this one? Did anyone else have this same situation? So far, the queries are for the surname JOHNSON. Would you please ask your cc's to remove any query that "looks" like it came from me since July 21, 1999? I have not posted a query in over almost a year. This person, Jesse K. Moore, after threatening to launch a campaign against personal genealogical research, has already started. He is attempting to dilute online genealogy with bogus information, according to his claim. We asked RW to block him from posting to the GenConnect boards, and they complied. RW also reported the offenses to his ISP, but it looks like he is using various yahoo and AOL accounts, too.
