Dr. Williams' tentative topic for this meeting will be "Washington Parish Migration Patterns." This address will include information on what areas many pioneer Washington Parish families moved from to get to Washington Parish, and what routes they would have taken. This will prove to be an enlightening address on Washington Parish's earliest settlers. Dr. Williams is Professor of Emeritus of History at Northeast Louisiana University. A native of Washington Parish, he is a frequent speaker for our society. Please come and bring a friend!
