Hello All. I sent this yesterday and Bobby discovered that I was bumped from the list so it didn't go through. He resub'd me! ;o) Here's the message Good Morning. As we speak, Bruce is out fishing!!! Which reminds me. It's getting close to (Sat.) Sept 25th and that's the date of our fish fry at Carolyn Henderson's house. We will start gathering about 1pm. She lives on the Tickfaw River. This is in the Hammond area of the state, n. of New Orleans...close to I-10. Carolyn will be sending out directions closer to time. I just want to be sure that everyone knows about this. Spouses are invited. If you don't have a spouse, you can bring a guest. We always have such a great time when we get together, I hope that you will make a special effort to come. You can bring a covered dish to go with the fish. We'll need a rough head count to know how much fish to bring, so if you KNOW that you are coming I'll start taking a head count now. Also, there are some volunteers who do a lot of typing for us in that area, so would you folks who are there, be sure that they know about this too? I really am looking forward to this. If anyone objects...let me know, because it will give all 64 Parishes a Rootsweb address, even though it is only a 'phantom URL'. If you don't want your parish to have this 2nd address, I won't give it to yours. One major benifit would be....if you give this url to a person to link to on their homepage, it will ALWAYS find your page, regardless of where you move to. Search-Engines too, for those of you who submit your sites to them.
