My ancestor was William Elisha Lot BAUM born about 1814 in Louisiana. His father was Alexander BAUM. I have the War of 1812 service record for an Alexander BAUM who served in the 10 and 20 Consolidated Louisiana Militia. However there is no information of a personal nature that would help identify him. A company muster roll has him at Camp Morgan near New Orleans. There appears to be more that one Alexander BAUM and I would like very much to identify the correct Alexander. William BAUM lived in Woodville, Mississippi for a while then moved to Catahoula Parish, La where he died ca 1866/67. He died intestate and Abraham CONN of Orleans Parish was appointed administrater of his succession. Any leads will be appreciated. Floreda
