After the Battle of Baton Rouge, soldiers were brought to the plantation and a make-shift hospital was set up. One soldier that lost him life there was Alec Todd, the half brother of Mary Todd Lincoln. He was buried on the plantation sight. The plantation has since burned. I am looking for information where to find the sight of this home and cemetery.
