My husband also has ancestral lines in Pointe Coupee Parish. I found a Louise Mourain married to Thomas Hall,also, Louise Rosella married to Onil Bourgeat and a Virginie M. married to Rene Porche. Another is Gustave L. Mourain married to Mary Jane Kelly. One more thing I found was Victor Mourain,18 August 1841,Pointe Coupee Parish Courthouse Post Office Records 1832-1900. Oh,yes, Adelina married to Simon Goudrau. My husband and I plan on going to St. Francis of Pointe Coupee, so we can find more information.
