Posted on: East Baton Rouge Parish La Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/La/EastBatonRouge/10121 Surname: CORSO ------------------------- Corso family members state that Phillipo Corso(b.1863 in Italy)landed in Baton Rouge with his family between 1903-1905. There is no record of him at Ellis Island, so it is probably fact that he indeed landed here with his family. They also stated that they left around 1910. I am trying to inquire where I could get ships records that prove he and his family landed in Baton Rouge. I would also like to find out how to obtain any census records, etc. covering that time frame. Any help would be appreciated. Son's that came with him to the U.S. were Phillipo jr.b.1892, Vincent J.b. 1896, Gusto b.1899, Charles b.1901. Other children born in the U.S. were Joe b.1906 &Sarah b.1907. Would be very thankful for any information!!!:)
