A deed executed 14 Dec 1859 recorded the transfer of property from W.F. Parsons to Emeline Parsons "wife of E.H. Greening". Was this the same W.F. Parsons who marr 1865 DeSoto Elizabeth Barfield? Were W.F. & Emeline both children of Harrison Parsons who d. DeSoto Par. in the 1850's? Emeline's husband was Eldridge H. Greening. She was widowed when he died 1863 while serving w/ 19th LA Inf. in TN. There's no record of their marriage in DeSoto Parish, but they were living there in 1860. Both of his parents were dec'd. by 1854, and cousin Samuel E. Guy of DeSoto Par. was gdn of Eldridge & his surviving brothers Franklin & Gus (Cornelius Augustus). Final disposition of Eldridge H. Greening's property was in 1888, but there is no mention of Emeline or daughter Alabama. Any help appreciated.
