It appears that you have a lot of new members so I would like to try again to locate the buriel place of Dr Samuel Alexander Mims, who died on 1 Jan 1864 in Logansport, LA, his property was located where Mims Springs Baptist Church is now located. I am also trying to find out what happended to his son Samuel Evander Roderic Mims (Called Roddy) who remained in DeSoto Parish after his step mother returned to South Carolina around 1868.
