Oh, my favorite church in DeSoto Parish is Old Union (it's off WPA road, I belive). It's awesome to turn the curve in the road and see the massive old building. On the inside, it still has some of the wooden spikes that were used to build it before nails were used. Also, there is a gorgeous Catholic church in Luling. It's on the main River Road outside of New Orleans. I'm also a church buff. My husband will see a little church in a small metal building and ask me if I want to stop and take a picture of it too....*lol* HTH, Paige -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com [mailto:gc-gateway@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of wooddoc01@aol.com Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2001 8:36 PM To: LADESOTO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [LADESOTO-L] Your Favoite Old Church?
