My Great-Great Grandfather, C.B. Connell bought 160 acres from Levi and Louisa Shelton Pressley on Dec 7, 1850. I have a copy of the document. Section 9, Township 13, Range 16 in DeSoto Parish. Just thought this might help some. C.B. Connell came to DeSoto Parish in 1847 from Macon Co Alabama.
