In response You did not give your name unless I missed it. One of my grandfather's sisters married a Powell. Her maiden name was Griffith and her parents were E.J. Griffith and Margaret Jane Pace Griffith and they are buried at Grove Hill. I do believe that his first name was Custis Powell but I am not certain. The Griffiths lived at Pelican at one time so probably this is the same family. Do you have any Griffiths in your line.
